Coffee and Critique

Coffee and Critique
10 a.m. to 12 noon, Second Saturdays
The Rourke Art Gallery + Museum, 520 Main Avenue, Moorhead

Have you ever felt stuck in the middle of your newest piece or frustrated you can’t make the next step forward to finish your artwork? You’re not alone! To artists, a critique is that friend who gives thoughtful, thorough advice. FMVA Visual Critiques are social gatherings that bring artists and art lovers together to talk about art. Bring a couple pieces of your art to talk about and gain insight with other art enthusiasts.

The FMVA has now partnered with the Rourke Art Museum + Gallery to host “Coffee and Critique”,  an informal community critique for bouncing ideas off your fellow artists and gaining fresh perspective from others in and outside of your own discipline. Bring your unfinished (or finished) work and mull it over. Or simply pull up a chair for coffee and fellowship with the artistic community. This event is free and open to all media and all career stages. This series is presented in collaboration with the FMVA.
