Become A Studio Crawl Artist

During the free two-day Studio Crawl, which is always the first weekend in October, artists throughout the Fargo-Moorhead area open their doors to the public, demonstrate their craft, and talk about studio life. Check out this 2017 Studio Crawl brochure and map here to see the quality of this great community event. The 2018 Studio Crawl is open to FMVA members who are working artists and have permanent studios that can be open to the public during the event. Download the Prospectus above to learn how to participate as a Studio Crawl artist.   Plains Art Museum hosts a Studio Crawl preview, Prairie Public promotes the event on its radio and television network, 20,000 Studio Crawl brochures are printed and distributed, and galleries and museums host special exhibits and receptions. The Studio Crawl is possible with support from the community and these generous sponsors. The FM Visual Artists established the Studio Crawl in 2004 to develop an awareness of the quality and diversity of visual arts in the region. In addition to the Studio Crawl, we offer a variety of public events each year and members-only networking, socials and education opportunities.
