Volunteer

FMVA is run by volunteers—and their service, expertise, dedication, and commitment is the greatest strength of the organization. If you would like to get involved, please send an email to info@fmva.org and list your interests. We welcome volunteers on the Communication, Education, Membership, or Programming committees. These committees maintain and promote FMVA through existing functions and events and pursue new ideas to expand FMVA.

We welcome your participation!

  • Attend the annual meeting and contribute your thoughts and vote.
  • Volunteer for one of the FMVA’s exhibitions.
  • Attend a board meeting to find out more about what’s happening.
  • Tweet about the FMVA.
  • Tell your friends and family about the FMVA.
  • Participate in the annual Studio Crawl, as an artist or as a spectator.
  • Join a committee.
  • Present a Visual Talk or host an Artists Visiting Artists’ Studio social.
  • Join the FMVA Facebook Group, or join and help administrate it.
  • Lead “Draw-Ins” for a season.
  • Hang artwork for our shows.
  • Help at receptions.
